HOW TO:
— If you're using DW's default layout, you're golden. Otherwise, go here and pick one.
— Pick 2 Column (Sidebar on Left) OR 3 Columns (2 Sidebars on Left).
— Under the modules tab, uncheck everything except: Custom Text, Navigation, Profile, and Links List. It should look like this.
— Go to the Custom CSS tab and uncheck the Use Layout's Stylesheet(s) box.
Copy this whole thing:

— Paste the code in, hit save, and you're done.
MODULES:
  • If you picked Two Columns, make sure all your modules are on the Main Module Section in the droplist.
  • For Three Columns, your inner sidebar modules go under Secondary Module Section.
    — Custom comment pages are functional, so are the other pages. Should've been mostly cleaned up, code-wise.
    — If you want an image background for the header, ctrl+F background: #000 url();, and paste the image URL in the parenthesis.

    NOTES:
    — Tested on Firefox and Chrome, let me know if it's not working on your browser.
    — Feel free to edit, but do not take out the credit line from the layout code.

    HOW TO:
    — Select a Blanket layout; I used Peach by [personal profile] sforzinda.
    — Go to the Custom CSS tab and uncheck the Use Layout's Stylesheet(s) box.
    Copy this whole thing.
    — Paste the code in, hit save, and you're done.
    CHANGING THE SUBHEADER BACKGROUND:
    CTRL+F div#header h2#subtitle

    Replace the red text for image, the blue text for solid color background, and generic bold text for subheader font color:

    div#header h2#subtitle { font-weight: normal; text-transform: uppercase; font-weight: 900; letter-spacing: 1px; padding: 40px 0; margin: 14px 0; color: #000000; font-family: 'Bodoni MT', sans-serif; font-size: 1.6em; text-align: center; background: url(http ://i.imgur.com/XZDhH5i.png) #ffffff; border: 1px solid #000000; }

    — The comment pages are functional, but because it's high-contrast black/white it might give you a headache, so I'd suggest turning it off. All sidebar modules have been disabled because I kinda hate them.
    — Tested on FF and Chrome.
    — Feel free to edit, but do not take out the credit line from the layout code.

    If you have questions/troubleshooting concerns, ask away in the comments. DISCLAIMER!!! I might take a long while to get back to you, on the other hand, so take this as a blanket (haha) pass to edit as you feel like.

    HOW TO:
    — Search for the Tabula Rasa layout, and choose Plain.
    — If you've turned off your Navigation strip, turn it on. Or keep it off, but you might have difficulty navigating otherwise.
    Copy this whole thing.
    — Paste the code in, hit save, and you're done.
    — The comment pages are functional, but they look hella weird. Same with the this layout, the layout disables ALL sidebar modules, but entry management and entry interaction links should be fine.
    — Tested on FF and Chrome.
    — Feel free to edit, but do not take out the credit line from the layout code.

    If you have questions/troubleshooting concerns, ask away in the comments, but i might take a while to get back to you.

    — Paste the code in, hit save, and you're done.
    — The comment pages are functional, but are a little wonky alignment-wise. Same with the first version, the layout disables ALL sidebar modules, but entry management and entry interaction links should be fine.
    — Tested on FF and Chrome.

    best viewed on really wide screens

    HOW TO:
    — Select any Brittle layout. Pick 2 Columns (Sidebar on Left).
    — Under the Presentation tab, select text-only for entry management links. It should look like this.
    — Under the Modules tab, make sure all the modules you'd like to use fall under the Main Module Section. Order as you see fit; here's an example.
    — Go to the Custom CSS tab and uncheck the Use Layout's Stylesheet(s) box.
    !!! IMPORTANT! Copy this whole thing if your screen resolution is higher than 1280 x 768.
    !!! If your screen resolution is 1280 x 768 or lower, use this version.
    — Paste the code, hit save, and you're done.
    — Tested on FF and Chrome, comment pages are fuctional but gross, leave a comment for trouble-shooting!
    — Feel free to edit, but do not take out the credit line from the layout code.

    !!!CHANGING THE HEADER BACKGROUND/IMAGE:
    — look for this section:
    #header {
    display: inline-block;
    width: 700px;
    height: 240px;
    background: #444 url(pretend this is a link);
    color: #fff;
    margin-left: 20%;
    margin-right: 15%;
    margin-bottom: 20px;

    Blue font is where the 6-digit color hex code goes, red font is where the image URL goes. Header image must be at least 700px by 240px.
