LAYOUT | connor

( live preview )

HOW TO:
— Select a Blanket layout; I used Peach by [personal profile] sforzinda.
— Go to the Custom CSS tab and uncheck the Use Layout's Stylesheet(s) box.
Copy this whole thing.
— Paste the code in, hit save, and you're done.
CHANGING THE SUBHEADER BACKGROUND:
CTRL+F div#header h2#subtitle

Replace the red text for image, the blue text for solid color background, and generic bold text for subheader font color:

div#header h2#subtitle { font-weight: normal; text-transform: uppercase; font-weight: 900; letter-spacing: 1px; padding: 40px 0; margin: 14px 0; color: #000000; font-family: 'Bodoni MT', sans-serif; font-size: 1.6em; text-align: center; background: url(http ://i.imgur.com/XZDhH5i.png) #ffffff; border: 1px solid #000000; }

— The comment pages are functional, but because it's high-contrast black/white it might give you a headache, so I'd suggest turning it off. All sidebar modules have been disabled because I kinda hate them.
— Tested on FF and Chrome.
— Feel free to edit, but do not take out the credit line from the layout code.

If you have questions/troubleshooting concerns, ask away in the comments. DISCLAIMER!!! I might take a long while to get back to you, on the other hand, so take this as a blanket (haha) pass to edit as you feel like.

It's lovely, but the header text is persistently the gray color that the shadow is supposed to be. I tried to change the font color, but the color is already "000000". In fact, no matter what I change the font color to (under header texts), the header font stays gray. Help?
